This program of study is for the student who is not a registered nurse and who is pursuing education to become a registered nurse. Satisfactory completion of the pre licensure track entitles the graduate to take the National Council Licensure Examination for RNs (NCLEX-RN) and, with a successful exam score, to become a registered nurse prepared for general practice in hospitals, community agencies, and other health care environments.
