This is the general philosophy of the Division of Graphic Communication that the whole person must be educated and encouraged to grow to student full stature in society. Realizing that technological specialization and general education are fundamental components in the development of individuals who enter the world of work, the Division of Graphic Communication has designed various programs of study to prepare these individuals to work in the complex society. Among the academic programs are graphic design, printing (communication) management, photography and printing production including significant coursework in animation and web page design. Internships, co-operative programs and colloquia round out the array of professional development programs which will further prepare graphic communication students to meet the needs of this ever-evolving technological society.

This university offers Cropper Hall: Cropper Hall is a freshmen facility. It is equipped with a large lobby area, a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. Cropper Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. Cropper Hall is centrally located on campus for easy access to most classrooms, the library and media center. Diamond Hall: Diamond shares a lobby with McGuinn Hall. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. Diamond Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. The facility is within walking distance to the bus terminal, the Student Union Building, and the main administration building. Gibbs Hall: Gibbs introduced the bill to the Florida Legislature that provided for the establishment of the college. Gibbs Hall has three hundred and five bed spaces. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, and wireless internet capability. Gibbs Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. Gibbs Hall is located in the West Quadrangle of campus on Wahnish Way directly across the street from the Bragg Memorial Stadium. McGuinn Hall: McGuinn Hall is a three and one half story facility with 110 rooms which accommodates a total of two-hundred and sixteen (216) bed spaces. McGuinn and Diamond shares a lobby. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. McGuinn Hall offers community bathrooms.
