This program prepares students for immediate entry into a variety of careers based on understanding human motivation and interaction. The degree also can provide a solid foundation for advanced and professional degrees. In this program students can prepare to work in industry and business immediately after graduation. They will explore leadership, decision-making, motivation, organizational behavior management, cultural diversity in the workplace, job performance, and recruiting, testing, and training in both psychology and business administration courses. The industrial/organizational psychology program can be especially useful for students who wish to prepare for advanced degrees, such as the MBA, or to combine graduate study in psychology with other business training.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता

Students must have completed high school diploma or GED equivalent. The high school course work includes algebra one and two; one semester of trigonometry, pre-calculus or senior math; two semesters of chemistry and physics. They should have a recomputed overall GPA of 2.50 or better in academic subjects, which include language and literature, social sciences, mathematics, and natural sciences. They must possess American College Test (ACT) or Standard Achievement Test (SAT) scores. International students must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test or a score of 6.0 on IELTS (International English Language Testing System). If a student does not want to take the TOEFL or did not pass the TOEFL, they have an option to complete ESL courses at LTU.
