The paralegal field is a growing profession. After graduating with a legal studies degree, they will be prepared for a career with a law office, prosecutor’s office, insurance company, courts, or an administrative agency at any level of government. With a degree in legal studies, they can work in a variety of different fields of law such as civil, criminal, family, real estate, bankruptcy, environmental, immigration, trademark, employment, and labor. The business law option is a good choice if they have an interest in business organizations, insurance, finance and accounting, or if they are interested in managing a law office.
