Students have three options to choose from when planning their studies: political science, economics, and international studies. All three options open similar doors to career opportunities, but allow them to focus their studies in a particular area that they enjoy. They will be prepared for careers in the following sectors: law, government, public administration, international organizations (such as the United Nations), nonprofit organizations (such as CARE), education.

Applicants must have at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale and must have completed a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school, undertaking a university-preparatory curriculum. Departments may set a higher requirement than a score of 550/79 (TOEFL) or 6.5 (IELTS) for their majors.
