Students are recommended to spend the first semester of study on campus in the Belmont Residence Hall (BRH). In fact, all entering CSU-Pueblo freshman, single and under age 21, are required to live in BRH for the first academic year. The cost for a double room per student (room will be shared with a roommate) in the Residence Hall, including all meals, is approximately $3,100, depending on the meal plan students choose. To secure a room, a $100 deposit is required and must be sent directly to the BRH. Early reservations are strongly encouraged. University Village at Walking Stick offers a unique housing opportunity for sophomores, juniors, and seniors and graduate students. Located west of the Belmont Residence Hall, these four-bedroom town homes allow students to experience private apartment living while in the heart of campus life. The two story town homes feature two private bedrooms and a semi-private bathroom on each floor, a main level living area, kitchen, and dining room, as well as a second-floor study loft. The apartments also feature an attractive courtyard area with the management office in the center of the community. The courtyard features an outdoor basketball court and on-site mailboxes and postal delivery. University Village residents are included in all Residence Life and Student Activities programs, are invited to attend all the educational and social events at Belmont Residence Hall and the Occhiato University Center.
