This program provides hands-on experience from the very beginning of the program to the students. This allows to blend theory with field work, practicum opportunities, student teaching and related experiences. It also puts them in touch with professionals in their chosen area who become great contacts for networking and employment opportunities. The program is housed in the human environmental sciences department, which is dedicated to strengthening and enriching the quality of life for individuals and families throughout the life cycle - helping individuals become active, contributing members of the community.

Students must have all transcripts from high school and/or college or university with English translation; a minimum score of 525 paper/193 computer-based/69 internet-based TOEFL (institutional TOEFL scores are also accepted or successfully completed Michigan Test with a score of 70 or above or English Composition at a U.S. college or university or must have completed an Intensive English Program with the equivalent of 525 paper/193 computer-based/69 internet-based TOEFL.
