This program is an interdisciplinary degree that allows flexibility in the choice of studies or an in-depth study in an area of special interest. It also enhances problem-solving and communication skills.

Students should have obtained minimum TOEFL of 527 on the paper-based test, 197 on the computer based, 6.0 overall on the IELTS, and internet-based minimum per section: 16 for reading and listening, 14 for speaking and writing. They should have 12 credits in sciences (exclude math/stats), 12 credits in arts/letters and/or social sciences, and four credits in math/stats; eight of the 12 science credits must be coursework with a lab or field work (28 total credits).
