The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science leading to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is the undergraduate pathway for ultimate entry into the DPT program at the University of Hartford. The Health Science program is a Bachelor of Science curriculum that may be pursued on a full-time basis and may be accelerated to a 3-year completion if desired. The program of study is designed to prepare students for professional or graduate study in Physical Therapy.

Applicants are expected to have a minimum score of 500 each on the verbal and mathematics sections of the SAT with a combined score of 1100 or a score of 21 on the ACT. Strong academic references are recommended. Students must also document completion of a minimum of 10 hours of physical therapy related volunteer experiences.
