This program is intended to prepare students to become certified physical educators from Early Childhood to Adolescence (K-12). It is the mission of the Physical Education program, to enable prospective physical education teachers to develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to be an effective novice physical education teacher. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of and skills in the Wisconsin Content Guidelines for Physical Education and the Wisconsin Teacher Standards.

Applicants should have completed secondary and post - secondary education from accredited college or institute, minimum overall GPA of 2.75 or higher. International students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on internet based test, 213 on computer based test, 550 on paper based test or a minimum IELTS score of Band 6.0.
