In this specialization students learn to develop their expertise in information systems management that addresses the management challenges facing technology-based businesses. They gain the knowledge and skills to help align business needs with technological solutions, identify new applications for technology, and leverage technological solutions in order to enhance their organization’s competitive position in the marketplace and also how to examine technological solutions can be affected in a global environment. This program requires eight days of academic residency (two four-day residencies).

Applicants must have : A master’s degree in a discipline or field related to the program/specialization for which application is made, from a U.S. school accredited by a regional, professional/specialized, or national accrediting organization recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or from an appropriately accredited non-U.S. institution; Three years of professional/academic experience related to the program for which application is made (preferred); Names of and contact information for two persons qualified to comment knowledgeably on the applicant’s skills and professional and/or academic qualifications for study in the intended field.
