The communication program is a highly interdisciplinary course of study with ties to both the humanities and social sciences. Formed to explore the history, structure, and process of communication, the program combines critical communication research and empirical American scholarship and is organized around four areas of research and practice: 1) communication as a social force, 2) communication and culture, 3) communication and the person, and, 4) media practices.

Transcripts A strong training in the chemical sciences is required. We are looking for a breadth of training. On a 4.0 scale, a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two years of undergraduate studies and a minimum of 3.0 GPA in chemistry courses are required; Letters of recommendation; GRE scores; For thesis Plan applicants, research experience and potential are considered; On the TOEFL a minimum 550 on written test or 220 on computer test is required.
