The mission of the Physical Therapy program is to prepare students to become Doctors of Physical Therapy who will assume leadership roles as advocates of accessible health care for society. Students’ education emphasizes the needs of the individual within the framework of socio-cultural differences. The program prepares them to assume the roles of clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, and administrator, with a commitment to lifelong learning. The combined BS/DPT curriculum requires completion of 80 credits of pre-professional (prerequisite) courses and 135.5 credits of physical therapy professional courses. Of the 135.5 credits, 43 credits are at the undergraduate level and the remaining 92.5 credits are at the doctoral level.

Student must have a graduation from an accredited institution with minimum GPA 30. on 4.0 scale. In addition to this, students whose native language is not an English they must have a minimum TOFEL score of 536 on paper based exam, 208 on computer based exam, 65 – 78 on internet based exam.
