This program is designed to prepare students for a scientific careers immediately upon graduation or for further training in graduate school. Students pursuing either of the two degrees can receive a broad education in physics or choose to specialize in different areas: condensed matter physics, optics, computational physics, biological physics, astronomy, and others.

Students must complete a minimum of 130 credit hours and complete all the specified requirements for both degrees. International students whose native language is not English must have the minimum TOEFL score with 500 on paper based test, 173 on computer-based test, 60 on Internet-based test and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of 6.0 and no individual band under 5.0. is required for admission.
