American Studies at Vanderbilt is a vibrant interdisciplinary community of students and faculty who participate in publicly engaged and socially committed scholarship, learning, and teaching. Through course offerings, colloquia, road trips, and research opportunities, program students and faculty examine the diverse cultures, identities, and histories of the U.S. through a range of intellectual disciplines and perspectives.
