पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This program aims at students who have earned their J.D., LL.B. or comparable law degree. The master of jurisprudence (M.J.) degree is designed for individuals who do not have a law degree, such as doctoral students in other disciplines, policymakers, government officials, business executives, intellectual property agents, journalists, media professionals, scientists and computer programmers. Both degree programs offer advanced coursework in a full range of intellectual property and communications law areas. To offer further specialization and better prepare students for their career advancement, students select from the general category of intellectual property law or one of the following five specialized tracks communications law; copyright/trademark law; entertainment and sports law; international intellectual property law; and patent law. The LL.M./M.J. program strongly encourages students to design their own courses of study with the assistance of their faculty advisors. The LL.M./M.J. curriculum includes a wide variety of courses and seminars. Students in the LL.M./M.J. program also will benefit from the close alignment between the law college and other graduate programs at Michigan State University.
