पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
The combined M.D./M.P.H. is conducted under the auspices of the Boonshoft School of Medicine and the Center for Global Health Systems, Management, and Policy. It is a flexible program that combines traditional M.D. preparation with in-depth work in public health management or health promotion and education. The curriculum of both degrees is integrated over a five-year period, including a monthly special leadership development program. The coursework for the two degrees is completed in an integrated fashion over a period of five years. Unlike many other M.D./M.P.H. programs that are essentially year-out programs, this program begins in the first year and ends in the fifth, although most of the course work for the M.P.H. is spread over the third, fourth and fifth years. The complete M.D. curriculum is taught; there is no compromise on education for either degree. Further details. Undergraduate GPA, academic load, community service, extracurricular activities, an interview and letters of recommendation also will be considered. Submit a certified copy of all university/college records in English, accompanied by official transcripts in the native language; financial statement form; official bank statement; a statement outlining degree objectives; and an official score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (for students from countries where English is not the native language). If the applicant’s native language is not English, a minimum score of 550/213 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required.
