पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश
This program will train students in integrated approaches to a systems level of understanding the physiology and pathophysiology of human diseases and how key molecules and pathways can be targeted for therapeutic purposes. Knowledge of the health or disease state of a cell, tissue, or organism, requires an understanding of networks of molecular interactions within and between cells. Thus, new and more effective therapies can be developed by considering how biological components interact with each other to produce emergent behaviors. It emphasizes training in several disciplines and approaches ranging from molecular and cell biology to genetics and biochemistry, from physiology and pharmacology to neuroscience and computational biology, from single cell model systems to organ-level and animal studies. The core courses, journal clubs, lab rotations, and works-in-progress presentations provides students with an understanding of how to use diverse data sets to delineate biological networks, how to translate this information into new therapeutic and preventive strategies, and how to apply this paradigm to their own research.

अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विद्यार्थीहरू प्रवेशको लागि आवश्यकता
Students must submit application form and by submitting the research-oriented MD/PhD online application form. They must have had research experience and should have taken advanced courses in science (e.g., physical chemistry, genetics, biochemistry). The MD/PhD application form is the only written material which must be submitted in addition to the application materials to the Medical School. They must submit 3 letters of recommendation from research advisors and GRE scores. Based on the application materials, a group of highly qualified applicants will be selected for interview.
