The Arnold School of Public Health offers the MD/MPH dual degree for students who have been accepted into either the USC School of Medicine or the MUSC College of Medicine. This dual degree program provides a systematic approach to acquiring the academic experiences needed to understand and appreciate the broad range of public health concepts, issues and opportunities while simultaneously pursuing a medical degree.

Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS. Admission also requires submission of scores on either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
