The MSBS/MBA is ideal for students interested in management careers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries. The program, which is offered jointly with the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (GSBS), covers the essential science and business concepts necessary for success. The knowledge students gain from this program will allow them to communicate effectively throughout the organization. While it would take them four years to earn these two degrees individually, this program can be completed in only two-and-one-half years of full-time study.

A master degree is required for Ph.D. A bachelor degree is required for Masters for admission. TOEFL scores 540 Paper-Based Test (PBT), 207 Computer-Based Test (CBT), 76 Internet-Based Test (IBT) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Overall Band score of 6.5 or higher (if applicable). Acceptable scores for all colleges except the College of Nursing are 550+ on the paper and pencil test, 213+ on the computer test, or 79+ on the Internet-based test. For College of Nursing applicants, the acceptable scores are 600+ on the paper and pencil test, 250+ on the computer test, or 100+ on the Internet-based test. Only Official GRE (or MAT) scores sent or verified by ETS will be accepted.
