The phenomenal growth of the hospitality and tourism industry and the demand for hospitality professionals with strategic skills have resulted in tremendous opportunities for graduates with an advanced degree in hospitality and tourism administration. Graduates from this program can integrate newly acquired skills and knowledge in the areas of hotel, restaurant, tourism administration, hospitality education and instruction to enhance their professional career. Students in the MS program also seek research careers and pursue Ph.D. degrees.

Students must have a BS/BA degree in hospitality administration or a related field and relevant work experience. GRE scores of 450 or higher in verbal and 580 or higher in quantitative and a 4.0 or higher in analytical writing; and GMAT scores of verbal 28 or higher; quantitative 35 or higher; analytical writing 4.0 or higher is also required. In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) or 550 (paper based test) to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English.
