This program prepares students in in general principles of management with an emphasis on the application to nursing. Whether they choose a management career in long-term care, acute care, or community/public health, the flexibility of the program allows them to focus on developing knowledge and skills relevant to the setting in which they wish to work.

[3], NUR 630 Practicum/Seminar in Nursing Mgt. [4], Cognate Options [9 credits].

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a program accredited by NLNAC or CCNE or a Bachelor's degree outside the field of nursing, RN licensure, and completion of BSN competencies. they must also have undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or completion of 6 credits at the graduate level with a minimum GPA of 3.0, current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Connecticut, at least one year of full-time clinical practice, professional goals' statement and resume.
