The Nohad A. Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning is located in the 3rd floor of the College of Urban and Public Affairs (SW Mill Street and 6th Avenue) in downtown Portland. The mission is to assist in the development of healthy communities through an interdisciplinary program of teaching, research and public service. Faculty and students engage the intellectual, policy and practice aspects of urban studies and planning from the local to the international levels and actively participate in the analysis, development and dissemination of the innovations for which Portland and the Pacific Northwest are known.

The mission of the Department of Residence Life is to collaborate with students, staff and faculty to create and support global communities in an environment that inspires academic achievement, personal growth, civic leadership and social responsibility in superior facilities, while continuously supporting the mission of the University. Services include Area Desks; Mail and Packages; Laundry; Common Area Use; Parking; Loading Zone Parking Permits; Garbage; Pest Control; Cable/Satellite Television; Internet; Personal Information; Entry Guard; Music Practice Rooms; Utilities; Storage; Vending; Lost and Found. The University Housing Office is located on the second floor of the Broadway Building at 625 SW Jackson St, Room 210. The Housing Office provides the following services: Complete information about housing options, rates, and contract terms and conditions; explains policies and procedures to coordinate contract paperwork and processes Check-in, Check-out, Contract Cancellations, Room Change Requests, Roommate assignments, Domestic Partnership requests, billing appeals, and other housing concerns.
