This program emphasizes the use of organisms as indicator of environmental stress. Students will be instructed in the identification of organisms and their interactions with the surrounding environment. Courses in statistics and chemistry are also emphasized to provide students with an understanding of experimental design and the influence of the non-living environment on organism ecology.
