This program is to prepare professionals who think critically about the ways individuals learn and develop emotionally, cognitively and socially. Students in educational psychology ask questions, seek answers and apply those answers in real world situations. This program will provide students with insights into the child, adolescent and teacher as individuals. This program is appropriate for those who want to expand their knowledge base to include the development of children, as well as what motivates them and how they learn. Some graduates use their expertise within school systems or intermediate school districts as teachers, staff development specialists, lead teachers or assessment specialists. Others use the degree as a springboard for doctoral work, particularly in educational psychology.

Applicants should have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree from a ministry of education recognized or accredited institution. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in computer science course work. International students should have obtained a TOEFL score of 213 (CBT), 550 (PBT), 79 (iBT); or MELAB score of 77; or IELTS score of 6.5; or TWE score of 4.
