In this program students take core courses such as: Arts Management and Society, investigating the relationship between the Arts and Society over time; Why Manage the Arts; Arts and Cultural Policy and Diplomacy which provides an international understanding of the role of policy and diplomacy in arts and cultural institutions and their relationship to the state; and Research in Arts Management which is designed to assist students in their final thesis or project and covers central questions and methodologies within the discipline. Fieldwork in Arts Management is also part of the course of study where students work with arts organizations on a semester long project in the field. Students will also undertake specifically designed Management and Law courses which provide them with the skills and insights needed to become effective arts managers. The program also offers electives which students may select from in areas such as Public Culture, Museum Studies, International Issues in Theatre Management, and Music Management.

Applicants must possess a bachelor degree with B average or higher from or the equivalent from an accredited or government recognized university. International students must have TOEFL scores (250 CAT/ 600 paper score minimum) or Internet based TOEFL test standard minimum score of 100 or IELTS (7.0 Overall Band score/6.5 individual band score minimum).
