The Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering offers undergraduate degrees in civil engineering, construction engineering and management, and environmental engineering. Seven graduate programs are offered in computing and systems, construction engineering and management, water resources and environmental engineering, structural engineering and mechanics, transportation systems and materials, and geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineering.

University Housing provides on-campus residential facilities for more than 8,000 students. From traditional residence halls and apartments for upper-division students to apartment-style housing for families, it offers a variety of residential options to accommodate student interests and needs. Residence halls offer amenities such as computer labs, Internet, laundry rooms, kitchens, mini-fridge/microwave and optional cable TV service. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least twelve credit hours to be eligible to live on campus during the fall and spring terms. Students who must drop below these minimum requirements should contact University Housing to request an exception. During the summer terms, housing is provided for any enrolled student as space permits. University Housing maintains self-help listings of off-campus apartments, rooms and houses for rent.
