The track in Church Music will be taught by McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta, in conjunction with the Townsend School of Music in Macon, with accreditation through the Association of Theological Schools. The curriculum will be structured so students, who so desire, can pursue a dual master's degree in music after completing their master of divinity of degree. The course of study for this track requires candidates in the Master of Divinity program to take 12 credit hours (within the normal Master of Divinity course load) from the Townsend School of Music in Macon.

Minimum requirements for admission include a regionally accredited bachelor's degree with a liberal arts core or proof of an equivalent degree from a foreign university. A minimum grade point average of 2.75 overall and 3.0 in the major is normally required. In certain cases, a student may be admitted on a provisional basis for admission deficiencies. Qualified students whose native language is not English must show proficiency by scoring a minimum of 550 Paper Based Test (PBT), 215 Computer Based Test (CBT) or 79 on the internet Basted Test (iBT) otherwise known as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of ELS Level 109.
