This program provides the knowledge to successfully apply information systems theory and principles to address real world business opportunities and challenges. Under the guidance of practitioner faculty, the graduate student will use innovative digital materials to understand the role of business systems within the organization, to understand and apply the principles of systems analysis and design, to analyze and evaluate information technologies, and to create project, risk, and information systems strategic plans.

Students should have an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited, or candidate for accreditation, or approved nationally accredited college or university, or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside the United States, and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) as shown on the undergraduate degree posted transcript. Students should provide the verification of minimum three years of significant full-time, post-high school work experience. And be currently employed. If not currently employed, they must have access to an organizational environment that allows them to apply the concepts they learn in their courses. Also they should pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), the Berlitz Online English Proficiency Exam or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the student is a non-native speaker of English.
