This program prepares students for careers in this dynamic environment, focusing particularly on issues relating to human and capital resources, the changing venues of public management, and sound practices of institutional representation. All students in the specialization take two required courses, Public Management (PAF 9160) and Public Personnel and Human Resource Management (PAF 9117). Students may then select two courses from a variety of elective offerings. These electives have been chosen with an eye to the diverse interests students bring to public management and the different directions in which they may choose to take their careers.

Students should possess a regionally accredited bachelor's degree or its recognized international equivalent (any major). Students must demonstrate their English proficiency, they should submit scores from either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic format/level test. TOEFL score of 105 out of 120 or an IELTS score of 7 is required. There is no minimum SAT/ACT score or GPA. For reference, the average SAT score is a 1220 (Math & Verbal), the average ACT score is a 26 and the average GPA is an 87%.
