The Master of Public Administration (MPA) includes professional management, analytical training, leadership skills, and understanding of public policy issues needed at all levels of government and in the nonprofit sector. It is tailored both for those without public service experience and for those wishing to expand their knowledge and expertise.

Core Courses are PUAD 512 Human Resource Management in the Public Sector, PUAD 517 Rule of Law in Administration, PUAD 523 Public Administration Management, PUAD 525 Public Policy, PUAD 533 Public Finance and Government Budgeting. Concentration courses Students can choose any 4 courses, PUAD 514 Organizational Behavior and the Public Sector, PUAD 519 Ethics and the Public Service, PUAD 526 Program Analysis and Evaluation, PUAD 529 Quality Management in the Public Sector, PUAD 537 Public Sector Economics

The standard TOEFL scores for admission are 80 iBT (213 CBT; 550 PBT), master’s level. The standard IELTS scores for admission are 6.0, master’s level. Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited U.S. institution of higher education or a comparable foreign institution. Have a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or above or the equivalent. If an applicant’s undergraduate GPA is less than 3.0, of if the applicant does not meet full admissions requirements, approval from the Admissions Committee is needed. If potential graduate students have taken the GMAT or GRE, submitting these scores may enhance the opportunity for admissions. An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or the equivalent from a foreign college or university. An advance deposit of $6,000 is required from all students studying on an F-1 visa. A total of $3,050 will be applied toward co-operative education administrative charges, and a total of $2,950 will be applied toward advance tuition fees or living expenses. Two letters of recommendation from the applicant's professors, employers, or graduate counselors, or other evaluative material accepted by the admissions office at the relevant campus.
