This program was established in 1982 and won full accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) in 1996. The MPA degree is the recognized degree for professional leadership and management positions in public service, including positions of leadership in government at the local, state, and national levels. The degree is a professional one and the educational program is designed to teach the skills required for effective public management—managing people, money, and programs in a political environment in a manner safeguarding the public interest.

To be considered for admission to the MPA program, in addition to meeting Graduate School admission requirements, applicants must provide three letters of recommendation, 2-3 page statement of purpose discussing why they chose the MPA program, what their professional goals are and how the MPA program will enable them to meet those goals. Students should Obtaining a minimum 60% in English at X and XII in Certificate in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. Students should have a Notarized or Original Copy of University Diploma or Provisional Graduation Certificate without any conditions stating that Bachelor’s Degree awarded. Official or Notarized Copy of all University Transcripts in English with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (some programs might require higher GPA) Proof of English Proficiency Completing ASU’s ESL Program Minimum grade of 90% or above. TOEFL – Paper-Based 550, TOEFL – Computer-Based 213, TOEFL – Internet-Based 79. IELTS – Academic 6.0.- Official Score from British Council. English as Official Language CIA World Fact Book. Students having Conditional Admission. High School Graduate (minimum 2 years of attendance) from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
