पाठ्यक्रमबारे सारश

In this program graduates will achieve master’s-level proficiency in electrical engineering subjects that include digital and analog circuit design, adaptive and statistical signal processing, coding theory, control system design, computer vision and image analysis. Graduates will attain a broad background in electrical engineering that provides them with a number of choices for future specialization, if needed. They will attain proficiency in both oral and written communication that is needed for achieving success in their future careers. They will have experience in project-based learning and hence will be ready to engage in high-tech careers upon their graduation. Research areas within the department include: communication engineering, networking, RF/microwave and antenna design, signal processing. It has two options. Option A: Thesis option with 24 semester hours of organized course work excluding undergraduate prerequisites and leveling courses, in addition to six hours of EENG 5950, Master’s Thesis. Option B: Non-Thesis option with 30 semester hours of organized course work and three semester hours of EENG 5890, Directed Study.

Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have minimum of a 3.0 GPA for undergraduate Electrical Engineering course work and a minimum acceptable scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is 1100 (verbal and quantitative). International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
