Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department provides a strong educational experience by exposing students to state-of-the-art techniques and to good practices. The undergraduate program is accredited by ABET and focused on Mechanical Engineering design. The graduate programs in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering engage students in solving the problems faced by industry and government in the Portland Metropolitan area, the state of Oregon, and southwest Washington.

The University Housing Office is located on the second floor of the Broadway Building at 625 SW Jackson St, Room 210. The Housing Office provides the following services: Complete information about housing options, rates, and contract terms and conditions; explains policies and procedures to coordinate contract paperwork and processes Check-in, Check-out, Contract Cancellations, Room Change Requests, Roommate assignments, Domestic Partnership requests, billing appeals, and other housing concerns.
