The MSPH is an academic research degree designed for those students who desire to specialize exclusively in the science of epidemiology with an intense concentration in epidemiologic methods. The MSPH degree offers a more in-depth education in the analytic aspects of epidemiology. Additional coursework in advanced epidemiologic methods and public health core courses with a focus on applied methodology are required. Graduation from the MSPH Program requires 48 semester hours of credit. This includes the completion of 4 credit hours of thesis.

RSPH will only receive complete (except test scores and international transcripts) and verified applications from SOPHAS. Transcripts, Official transcripts (documents with original dean’s, registrar’s or appropriate authority’s original signature and/or university seal on official paper in sealed envelope) must be received by SOPHAS from each post-secondary academic institution attended, regardless of length of enrollment or credit awarded. SOPHAS will only accept transcripts sent directly from the schools attended. International Transcripts, International transcripts must be submitted to World Education Services (WES) for an official course-by-course credential evaluation, Three Letters of Recommendation, SOPHAS requires three recommenders in order to submit the online application. However, once two recommendations are received by SOPHAS, your application will be forwarded to RSPH for review, granted all other materials have also been completed and verified. The third recommendation will be forwarded to RSPH upon receipt. submit test scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Test scores submitted may not be more than five (5) Years old. In addition to the general admission requirements for all applicants to the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, all international student applicants are required to submit additional test scores and documents.
