Since sustainability involves the successful integration of environmental, economic and social aspects of any issue, 21st Century Engineers will require a broad mindset and tools to solve these challenges. There is a growing demand for engineers in the corporate, consulting, governmental, and non-profit sectors to undertake work either directly or indirectly involving sustainability opportunities. The Environmental Sustainability track is targeted toward the engineer seeking an overall understanding of how to apply sustainable solutions to complex problems.
