The program will prepare post-baccalaureate students from diverse fields to explore the regenerative development of cities. The program blends educational material in business, architectural design, planning and related fields to empower its graduates to become effective and influential participants and contributors in the fields of real estate, finance, development, and design. The program aspires to place 100% of its graduates in real estate development and related firms, and will work proactively to identify and build opportunities for graduates to work in for-profit and non-profit business settings that produce innovative strategies for sustainable change in communities. The program will support and encourage nationally significant research utilizing lessons from New Orleans as a laboratory of larger implications for other communities. The program will additionally draw from case study examples across the United States exploring the power of public-private partnerships, innovative financing strategies, and the fundamental teamwork that is necessary for any successful and sustainable real estate development enterprise.

Students should hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum TOEFL score is 600 for the paper-based test; 250 for the computer-based test; and 100 for the Internet - based test. Applicants must ask the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to send official test results directly to Tulane University. Scores must be no more than two years old. The Tulane University Institution Code is: 6823.
