This program is to prepare students who wish to work with special education students in grades K-12. Touro's Special Education Program is dedicated to serving the needs of students who have mental, emotional, autistic and learning disorders, especially in under-served segments of that population. Participants in the program benefit from high quality coursework, competent instructors, ongoing staff development, and collaborations with nationally and internationally known experts in the academic arena.

Students must have a bachelors degree from an accredited institutions. They must maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. International students whose native language is not in English should have the Test of English as the Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score is required for admissions.
