This program overall goal is to engage students in academically oriented training early in their medical education. This in turn will prepare them for comparably oriented residencies and fellowships that will ultimately lead toward faculty positions in US medical schools as physician-scientist-educators of the future.

Applicants must have a Baccalaureate degree in the natural or physical sciences. A strong background in the following disciplines is encouraged : Biology, General and organic chemistry, Physics, Mathematics. Degrees in other academic areas will be considered. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test (verbal, quantitative, and analytical scores and percentiles) is required. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for all applicants whose native language is not English. TOEFL is not required for graduates of a U.S. undergraduate program (minimum of two years of study in the U.S). Applicants must have Official transcript(s) of each college or university, Three letters of recommendation, and Personal and Research Statement.
