The Department of Business and Technology Education provides and administers programs and experiences aimed at meeting the needs of two groups of students: pre-service personnel and in-service personnel. The pre-service programs are designed primarily to prepare persons to enter the chosen field of employment for the first time. The in-service programs are designed primarily for persons who are already employed and who need training or retraining in order to upgrade their professional preparation to maintain their current job or to develop new competencies in order to obtain employment in new jobs.

This university offers Cropper Hall: Cropper Hall is a freshmen facility. It is equipped with a large lobby area, a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. Cropper Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. Cropper Hall is centrally located on campus for easy access to most classrooms, the library and media center. Diamond Hall: Diamond shares a lobby with McGuinn Hall. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. Diamond Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. The facility is within walking distance to the bus terminal, the Student Union Building, and the main administration building. Gibbs Hall: Gibbs introduced the bill to the Florida Legislature that provided for the establishment of the college. Gibbs Hall has three hundred and five bed spaces. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, and wireless internet capability. Gibbs Hall offers community bathrooms. Each bathroom is equipped with several shower stalls, toilets, and sinks. Gibbs Hall is located in the West Quadrangle of campus on Wahnish Way directly across the street from the Bragg Memorial Stadium. McGuinn Hall: McGuinn Hall is a three and one half story facility with 110 rooms which accommodates a total of two-hundred and sixteen (216) bed spaces. McGuinn and Diamond shares a lobby. It is equipped with a laundry facility, electronic access, wireless internet capability, and a general study area downstairs. McGuinn Hall offers community bathrooms.
