This program is primarily designed for clinical embryologists and andrologists, physicians, and others involved in the practice of ART. Graduates of the 34-credit-hour program will receive a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in clinical embryology and andrology. The course of study is 24 months, including two four-day residential sessions at EVMS and twelve courses.

Students should hold a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with an undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 (B-) or better. They should have grades converted to the U.S. grading system by a recognized organization should a non-U.S. grading system have been utilized at the institutions attended; Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the last 5 years with a combined score of 800 or greater on the verbal and quantitative sections and at least a 3.5 on the analytic section for non-probationary admission. Preference will be given to candidates with combined verbal and quantitative scores of 1000 or greater. TOEFL score equal to or greater than 550 for the paper-based test, or 213 for the computer-based test, or 80 for the iBT exam is required for applicants whose native language is not English.
