This program prepares students for a career in industrial or government research or academia. The program of study for each student is tailored to meet individual needs and interests.

Applicants should have a prior M.S. in Computer Science, or related field, whether from OGI or another institution. Outstanding applicants who are admitted to the program with only a B.S. are required to complete the Master's program at OGI. Written Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores are required for applicants whose native language is not English, except for those who have earned a degree from a US institution. The OGI School of Science and Engineering will accept the paper-based test, computer-based, or internet-based test.
