I attended the Ravensbourne MA program in Interactive Digital Media in the years 2003-2004. Prior to that I had been doing design contract work in many areas including web design, print design and interactive design. I know that I was most interested in interactive design, but I was not really sure where that would lead. Now I am glad I did my masters at Ravensbourne. I would definitely recommend the course to anyone who is considering studying for a postgraduate qualification or looking for a new challenge.

During my time at Ravensbourne I was given the freedom to explore and focus on the areas that were most interesting to me, but also the resources to professional and academics in a wide variety of expertise, giving me the greatest exposure possible, and the advanced support needed to explore deeply into those areas. Ravensbourne MA program served to be both holistic and specific. General courses gave me critical thinking skills, and pushed me to question more of what I assumed about design. Specific courses in interaction design further pushed my interactive skills, while technical courses gave me the opportunity and the skills necessary to take my design experiments and turn them into something real.
