The University presents a good ambiance for study and stay.
I appeared for GRE and TOEFL examinations. I took coaching for preparations. The visa interview was easy. I flew Emirates Airlines. The service was good. The airline did not offer any concessions. I landed at LAX, 1 hour drive from the University. I was allowed 3 bags of 23kgs a piece and one carryon baggage. Excess baggages are charged. I did not face any immigration issues at the port of entry. The University did not offer a "Meet and Greet" service at the airport.
I am happy with the way the program has been structured. My professors are very good. The Class rooms are amazing. Library has a vast collection of books.
I live in an apartment off the campus. We do have full sports facilities. Almost everyone who is willing to work gets a part time job on campus. Weather is good. There is an Indian student society who organizes celebrations.
The Job scenario is quite competitive. The University has a placement cell. If the student has the valid work authorization approval, then getting a job is not an issue. Work permit is easily available after completion of course. There is a strong alumni society in the university.
