CHC is a relatively small college and the staff and the students all get to know each other quite well. The course I am completing requires a lot of reflection on yourself your life and dealing with your own stuff. The process is therefore quite confronting and the staff will not allow you to go out on practicum until they are sure of your abilities. When I started I was very unsure of myself and my abilities now I know what my abilities and limitations are and I feel ready to face the world in my chosen field.

As a mature age entry student I was required to write an essay as part of the admission process; as my grades apart from being out-dated were also appalling and would not have gotten me into any institution to study anything. I was advised by friends to apply to as many institutions as I could but I stubbornly only applied to one and was accepted first time. There are only a certain number of places awarded each year and there is a waiting list so the college has a process which appears to be quite stringent but also very fair.

I was able to obtain full government FEE HELP to pay for my course.

The subjects were/are very intense but very practical. The lecturers are real sincere and amazing. The course is definitely good value for money. I would send any of my children to this college as I believe it is the best I have ever heard of or experienced.

Accomodation is available on-site there is a cafe where many of the students work and the food and cost of the food is pretty good too.
