My advice to future students would be to do IB.

I had to write exams for my admission to the university. I did not prepare for it, Though I attended coaching classes and also took the help of educational counsellors. Its a waste of money. The visa interview was smooth. It was easy as 2+2=5. I was able to get the airline tickets easily. I flew Continental. It was amazing, no student fare was offered. I landed at EWR, its 1 h by train. Baggage allowed are 2 baggages 50 pounds each. Excess baggage was not allowed. I faced some immigration issues, I was about to be deported because I was apparently breaking the trust the government of USA had blessed me with. No Meet and Greet at the airport.

Can’t say anything about the program. There is room for a lot of things to be bettered.

I stay in a dorm with a room right in front of the elevator (terrible). They are not like home.6/10.6/10. The social scene is great and the night life is hot. The weather is pretty cold out here. There is an international student society at the university, I dont know how it functions.

Co-op=intensive. I dont know about the job prospects for international students. We do have a campus placement process in place. 100s of organizations attend these fairs. We have an alumni association here…no idea how it functions and if it helps with placements.
