I enjoy my university experience so much. The most important piece of advice I could give to you is that IT is always a very good field for people to develop their talents. Go for IT if you think you are capable of challenges.

It was not hard to get in. Actually I finished the first 2 years in a university in Vietnam, my home country, then I transfer my credit to this university. It was really good as I could save money. In order to have a stress-free application, you need to prepare a lot of documents, and be careful not to forget anything as you might be asked to submit again, and it takes a lot of time to redo everything.

I did not have scholarship, but I saved 2 years of living expense as I studied in a university that has connection with Southern Cross and they accepted my credits in the first 2 years.

The course is very value for money. The best bits are that you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the surrounding suburbs. I spent about 30 hours to study each week, and I recieved all kinds of support that I needed from the University.

The university facilities are alright given the tuition is at an acceptable level. I enjoyed the local areas so much. It is so quiet and tranquil. Accommodation was very cheap and you can enjoy huge land mass. It was much cheaper than big cities like Sydney or Melbourne. The Student Union was very active, but I did not join the activities.

I am working as a software developer in Australia. I now have PR. I still keep in touch with friends who did the same course as me.
