I won a scholarship from my country called Ausaid, I could choose to study in whatever Universities, but I could only achieve a limited English language profiency, so I had to study in Newcastle Uni, which required limited English language requirements.

It was not easy for me to get in. I followed the process recommended by the admin staff. I received all kinds of assistance. The selection process and the visa application required you to submit a lot of documentations. You needed to prepare all of those, or you wont be granted a visa. We were helped by IDP, an education agent operating around the world.

The scholarship/funding is very generous to me. The Ausaid scholarships provided tuition and living allowances to awarded students.

The course is very value for money. The best bits are that I could have the chance to study in a mulitnational, multicultural environment. All of my friends, international and local, were all friendly and helpful to me. I spent 35 hours to study each week. The lecturers and tutors were very understanding to the needs of international students. The course is very value for money.

My job prospects have increased thanks to my studies. I spent a year in the States, and currently in Japan. I kept in touch with the fellow alumni in my course. I am working as a software developer in Japan.
