This is my final semester at Curtin. After studying at Curtin for 4 years, it feels very good as I just sat for my final paper and marked my last paper at Curtin. Having double major in film and television, and public relations will certainly help in the future. I have taken many business units and journalism units that can contribute to my career in the future. It did not take me long to get used to the teaching system in Curtin.

As I was a student here since foundation studies, it is very easy to continue at Curtin for degree studies. To transfer here from Curtin Sarawak, the international office at Miri helped me with the transfer. I just need to cooperate with the officers by supplying them my copy of passport and fill in the details for visa and health insurance application.

I know Curtin in Malaysia provides students with one-year scholarship to finish up their degree here in Curtin Bentley. As for me, I was lucky to awarded the opportunity to join the student exchange program that is awarded to 6 students every semester. It saves me much money as I only need to pay the fees according to Curtin Malaysia rate.

My course exposed me to many practical work of film and television production. As for my other major, my real life experience of working at PR department for my final unit prepared me to work in the future. So far, I have met many good lecturers and tutors. They were very helpful and considerate when I was sick.

The facilities here are great. Students can retrieve information for projects and assignments through OASIS. It's really useful, it saves us trip to library. We can also check for availability of books in OASIS. Curtin Student Guild here is very active, it provides students with many advantages. However, students need to pay in order to join it.

Yes, they do. I never thought of joining any formal alumni association. Keeping in touch with lecturers, tutors, and course mates is good enough.
