I've been at SQIT since July 2009. I chose to study automotive because I wanted to do something for my career. Our teachers Gary (Webb) and Don (Fenby) have been very supportive not only with our studies but also with personal issues like finding a house to live. I'm really happy that I chose this campus. The overseas students feel very comfortable here and feel we are getting personality development as well as skills.

Toowoomba is not a small city so most of us have been able to find work, unlike in Brisbane or other cities. People who are coming to Australia for permanent residence purposes can get five extra points towards it by choosing a regional area like Toowoomba. If a person is coming to live their life in Australia, Toowoomba is where they can buy a house. Other places like Brisbane are too expensive but in Toowoomba you can make your instalments and have your own house.
